This is the twenty-first annual conference presented by the California Association of Neonatologists (CAN) and the AAP District IX Section on Perinatal Pediatrics. The meeting will include an optional workshop to help participants utilize CPQCC resources to improve perinatal outcomes. The conference and combined meeting will be dedicated to a scientific and practice-oriented discussion of current topics and controversies in perinatal and neonatal medicine. The optional California Perinatal Quality Care Collaborative (CPQCC) workshop is geared to teams of caregivers from perinatal and neonatal units (neonatologists, obstetricians, neonatal nurse practitioners, infection control nurses, nutritionists, lactation consultants, respiratory therapists) who can effect change in the topics presented. The optional Friday afternoon Neonatal CPT Coding Update Seminar is for neonatologists, neonatal nurse practitioners and neonatal billing personnel. The Saturday and Sunday education program is directed to neonatologists, pediatricians, NNPs, and will provide an update on topics pertinent to current practice.
