Activity Objectives - At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  1. Identify the standard components of most fluoroscopic equipment
  2. Recognize the effects of various fluoroscopy operating parameters on image quality
  3. Identify safe techniques during fluoroscopy operation to protect patients and staff
  4. Identify unsafe fluoroscopic practices
  5. Recall California's requirements of when a fluoroscopy procedure legally begins
  6. Recall California's requirements of who may legally operate fluoroscopic equipment
  7. Describe California's requirements for the proper use of spacer cones

This internet enduring material consisting of a interactive presentation takes approximately 1 hour to complete. CME credit is obtained upon reviewing the lecture, submitting the online evaluation and successfully passing the test. An electronic CME certificate will be available after requirements are completed.
