Iron deficiency affects over 1 billion people in the world. While oral iron supplementation is a standard tool for physicians, parenteral iron is much less commonly used. Dr. John Glaspy from the UCLA Division of Hematology-Oncology presents a seminar on the use of parenteral iron.
