10th Annual UC San Diego Urology Postgraduate Course: Update in Prostate Cancer and Urologic Diseases
This course will focus on evidence-based urology in the following categories: prostate cancer, benign prostatic hyperplasia & urinary stone disease (including a live surgery, broadcast to the World Congress of Endourology, by Dr. Roger Sur), economics of health care, men's health and urologic oncology. We will address the rapidly changing landscape of personalized medicine for the treatment of prostate cancer and will also discuss the revolution of immunotherapy for urologic cancers. There will be ample time for audience questions and discussions of challenging clinical scenarios in each category of the course.

Course Objectives:
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
-Discuss and apply evidence-based approaches to urologic malignancy including prostate, kidney, and bladder cancers
-Describe the indications and evidence-based approach to the use of immunotherapies for urologic cancers
-Interpret and apply the latest medical and surgical treatments for lower urinary tract symptoms in men
-Assess conditions affecting men's health
-Explain how pain management should be employed in clinical care
-Utilize radiation safety guidelines in routine fluoroscopy
-Recognize the latest evidence-based knowledge regarding the management of stone disease
