Activity Name:	Art of Endoscopy: Hands-On Therapeutic Endoscopy Course
Needs Assessment:	This educational program is hosted by the West Coast Chapter of Women in Interventional Endoscopy and supported by the Divisions of Gastroenterology at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, University of California San Diego Medical Center, and Hoag Medical Center. The course is focused on the in-depth understanding of new interventional endoscopic techniques and medical device design. Lectures and hands-on demonstrations on ex vivo models will be performed by our expert faculty.
Course Objectives:	At the conclualon of this activity, participants wlll be able to: Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the latest advances in endoscopic imaging of the GI tract Identify endoscopic altematives to the conventional surgical approaches Choose the most appropriate management pathways for complex pancreatico-biliary and luminal GI diseases Explain advantages and disadvantages of advanced endoscopic techniques Demonstrate knowledge of the medical device design and implementation process road map
