The Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior at UCLA presents the 23rd Annual Review of Psychiatry and Psychopharmacology Update on emerging diagnostic and treatment modalities for mood disorders, as well as other diseases of the mind and brain. This course will run in two tracks. The first track will focus on the latest clinical advances and developments that will shape how clinicians treat patients. The second track will examine how improved understanding of neuroscience and the arts can enhance treatment and contribute to a greater understanding of human behavior. Renowned faculty experts from psychiatry, psychology, neurology, and other fields, will present novel treatments and management strategies to help healthcare professionals deliver state-of-the-art care to their patients. This two-day program will feature lectures as well as symposia with panel discussions that will encourage active participation by the audience and discussion of challenging cases.
