This is the twenty-sixth annual conference presented by the California Association of Neonatologists (CAN) and the AAP District IX Section on Neonatal-Perinatal Pediatrics. Internationally recognized speakers will present important clinical topics.

Neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners
Course Objectives:

At the conclusion of this course, participants should be able to:

  • Review recent advances in fetal medicine and surgery.
  • Identify changes in neonatal respiratory management including HHHFN, Cell-Based Therapies, InSurE and LISA.
  • Review contemporary management of Patent Ductus Arteriosus.
  • Describe the role of iron and transfusions in management and outcome of NICU patients
  • Identify complex psychosocial factors affecting outcome of NICU graduates.
