	Improving OUTcomes Conference Our conference is focused on informing, engaging and teaching health professionals and community partners on how they can improve quality of and access to healthcare for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and questioning (LGBTQ+) patients and their families. The Improving OUTcomes Conference's presentations and topic areas will include Intersectionality of Age, Race, Ethnicity, Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity, Health Disparities of LGBTQ Communities, Aging and End-of-Life Care for the Transgender Community, and New Laws and Changing Federal Policies and their Implications for the LGBTQ Community. We plan to host our conference in-person at the UC Davis Health System campus at Sacramento, CA. Participants will take part in a keynote address, various presentations and panels, and networking mixers featuring powerpoint presentations and discussions.

Course Objectives:	Identify the basic medical needs of LGBTQ+, with an emphasis on transgender and gender-nonconforming patients. Demonstrate best practices in providing gender affirming treatment for adolescents and adults. Identify other resources (journals, providers, etc.) to consult in cases of uncertainty about how to treat trans/LGBTQ+ patients. Identify steps to educate and counsel colleagues and staff on LGBTQ+ cultural competency and bias. Identify strategies to develop inclusive environments at their institution or in individual practices. Develop network/partnerships with other change agents within and outside their institutions.
