    Welcome to the SCLC ANNUAL COLLECTION SERIES

    The UCSF Smoking Cessation Leadership Center is pleased to offer this special collection of select past webinars. This Collection includes four (4) webinars presented to date throughout 2023 at a special price for a limited time. Topics include reducing nicotine content, contemporary tobacco regulation, effects of marijuana smoke, and a special recording of the "It's about a Billion Lives" Symposium.



    Registration
    The above webinars are accessible individually for the base price indicated. To participate in the entire Collection, enroll only once by clicking the "Launch" button in the upper-right section of the screen. Once registered, you may then select and view any of the recorded webinars above by clicking the title and streaming or downloading the .mp4 file.

    You are free to choose to view only 1 or up to all webinars in the Collection.

    The fee to register for and claim CME credit for an individual webinar is $45. Enroll for the entire Collection for a total of $65; about $6 per webinar.

    SCLC is currently offering free credit thanks to our partners at the CA Department of Public Health. California Providers: Please use the discount code CADPH23 if you are a California health care provider to waive the fee.

    Cancellations and Refunds
    Cancellations should be made in writing within 7 days of enrollment. Refunds will only be made in the event that technical difficulties prevent completion of the activity, or if no interaction with the material occurred because of inadvertent or mistaken enrollment, or expiration of the activity before the learner had the opportunity to complete it fully. Fees can be transferred to another activity in the case of mistaken enrollment.

    Claiming Credit
    The estimated time to complete an activity is 60-90 minutes PER WEBINAR. Upon finishing the recording, answer the multiple-choice test questions (with a passing score of 70% or better), and complete the evaluation form for each webinar to receive a certificate, which will be available immediately for download or print. Each webinar has its own quiz, evaluation and certificate, and each is worth 1.00 - 1.50 CME credits. Completion of all webinars in the collection is equivalent to 7.00 CE credits. You must complete each webinar, quiz and evaluation in the Collection to earn the maximum credits.

    This Collection will be available from June 15, 2022 through June 30, 2025.



    Accreditation

    In support of improving patient care, the University of California, San Francisco is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team. 

    UCSF designates this set of enduring materials for a maximum of 7.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.  Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

    Nurse Practitioners and Registered Nurses: For the purpose of recertification, the American Nurses Credentialing Center accepts AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ issued by organizations accredited by the ACCME.

    Physician Assistants: The National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) states that the AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ are acceptable for continuing medical education requirements for recertification.

    California Pharmacists: The California Board of Pharmacy accepts as continuing professional education those courses that meet the standard of relevance to pharmacy practice and have been approved for AMA PRA category 1 credit™. If you are a pharmacist in another state, you should check with your state board for approval of this credit.

    California Psychologists: This educational activity is recognized by the California Board of Psychology as meeting the continuing education requirements toward license renewal for California psychologists. Psychologists are responsible for reporting their own attendance to the California Board of Psychology. Psychologists from other states should check with their respective licensing boards.

    Behavioral Health Science Professionals: Not all of the webinars in this collection may be qualified for CEU's. See individual accreditation statements to verify if credit for California Social Workers, Educational Psychologists and Marriage and Family Therapists is available.

    California Addiction Professionals: The UCSF Office of Continuing Medical Education is accredited by the California Consortium of Addiction Professional and Programs (CCAPP) to provide continuing education credit for California Addiction Counselors. UCSF designates this live activity, for a maximum of 7.00 CCAPP credits. Note that all modules may not be approved for CCAPP.  Addiction counselors should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
