Description:	This interactive one-day conference will present cutting edge opportunities for improving assessment and management of patients with gastrointestinal conditions and place recent advances in context of current assessment and management paradigms.
Course Objectives:	At the completion of this activity participants should be able to: Evaluate the most current approaches to treating irritable bowel syndrome Discuss approaches to evaluation and treatment of constipation Apply optimal approaches to identification and management of inflammatory bowel disease, including the role of stool transplantation Review current evidence to support surveillance for colon neoplasia in patients with colorectal polyps Apply novel approaches to assessing patients for hereditary cancer syndromes Examine the best approaches to diagnosing and managing hepatic encephalopathy Describe advances in risk stratification of patients with non-alcoholic steatohepatitis Identify approaches to endoscopically managing obesity Implement new approaches to treating GI bleeding Assess approaches to optimizing outcomes of Barrett?s esophagus
